Construction Technology Cluster meeting in February

On 20th February 2019, the Construction Technology Cluster, which operates under the management of the Pécs-Baranya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIPB), held its monthly meeting.

 

 

The invited guest was Exim Bank, Gergely Boros, representative of the region introduced the Bank and its main services at the beginning of the assembly.

This was followed by the discussion of the construction competition launched on 28th January 2019, for the first time this year for the 6th, 7th and 8th grade students of Baranya County.

The application was open until 7th February, children could apply by filling in the online toto.

44 teams applied, this means 134 children, which is an outstanding number compared to the number of other competitions launched by the chamber in the first few years.

After the first round 24 teams could go on, and the final round is being held on 7th March 2019.

Members of the meeting could elect a new chairman, but all of them supported Gábor Molnár (IMG Építő Kft.), chairman for the next one-year cycle as well, so there was no change in the management.

In addition, members were talking about the state’s plans about creating practical training center in the construction industry. They were informed as well about the masonry master training that started with the organization of the CCIPB.

The cluster will hold its next meeting in March.
